What you will do

As a savvy steward of our financial resources, you’ll play a pivotal role in the organization by ensuring the integrity of our financial data. This role will you have primarily focused on implementing, monitoring, and testing internal controls, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of all functions of the accounting team. You will also assist with month-end close which includes journal entries, accruals, and accounts reconciliations. As an Accountant, you will assist with financial analysis of actuals to forecast for various functional areas in the company. This role will assist in preparing support documentation for our auditors and respond to audit inquiries. Additionally, this role champions technology adoption within the accounting function, and leveraging automation tools to improve processes and reporting accuracy.

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
• 2-5 years related accounting experience
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite with robust Excel skills

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $65.000 - $87,750, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at NRC Health, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package. NRC Health is not currently hiring in DE, HI, LA, MD, NJ, RI, D.C. While this position may allow for a work from home environment, candidates must live in the Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas.
