Fierce Staffing Services is actively seeking to hire  Event Staff for AfroTech 2025 in Houston, TX. 

AFROTECH™ Conference is the largest Black tech conference of the year! Get ready to connect with a global community of 20,000+ Black tech innovators during a series of digital and in-person events filled with dynamic programming on emerging trends, networking opportunities with industry leaders and conversations with top tech recruiters.

AFROTECH™ Conference 2025 will take place Sunday, October 26 through Friday, October 31, 2025  in Houston, TX

Working Staff will be able to attend AfroTech events  After  successfully completing assigned shifts.

Our company is seeking several Event Coordinators and Ambassadors to join our FIERCE team! The right candidates will be highly organized individuals with excellent time management skills who enjoy being involved in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, and we're looking for someone with a passion for their work and an innovative spirit who can always bring fresh ideas to the table.

• Scope of Work :

Production Assistants + Event Staff:

Assemble registration packets, lead attendee registration experience, assist with registration setup and breakdown. Concierge support in the sponsor's lounge and VIP Office. Greeting/Wayfinding Support, Door Monitors, Room Hosts and Festival Staff

Supervisor and Management Roles Available:  Supervisors are required to work full days and monitor staff attendance, support with client needs and communicate to Fierce Leadership. (Pay Rates will be provided at interview)

• Location : Houston, TX
• Comp : $24/ HR
  • Event Registration 
• Attire : All-black business casual
• Shift Times: TBD. We are requesting open avails Oct 26 - Oct 31, until further confirmation of shift times.
• Training Dates: 
  • Virtual Trainings Choose (1):October 8th 6:30PM CST, October 9th 6:30PM CST and October 11th 12:00PM CST 
  • In-Person MANDATORY Training: October 26, 2025 Time: TBD
