Hours: 2:30pm -6pm or 3pm -7pm  

Pay: $20 hourly  

As an Afterschool Site Coordinator with John Boner Neighborhood Centers, you’ll take the lead in empowering youth through our EDGE (Education, Discovery, Growth, and Excellence) Afterschool Programs . In this dynamic leadership role , you’ll oversee the daily operations of a school-based site, working directly with staff, students, parents, and community partners to provide a nurturing environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth. This role is ideal for experienced leaders ready to make a lasting impact by shaping and delivering high-quality youth programming.  

A Day in the Life as an Afterschool Site Coordinator:  

Your day might include:  

• Designing and implementing academic enrichment lesson plans and experiential curriculum based on Indiana Academic Standards. 
• Coordinating daily operations of the EDGE program, including supervising staff and engaging youth in age-appropriate activities. 
• Managing parent communication and fostering strong partnerships with teachers, school staff, and other JBNC departments. 
• Training staff in academic enrichment, behavior management, family engagement, and program policies. 
• Addressing elevated and complex student needs using restorative practices. 
• Evaluating program effectiveness and collaborating with the leadership team to implement improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:  

• Completion of onboarding requirements, including a Tuberculosis (TB) test, drug screening, background check, and CPR & First Aid certification. 
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
