Job Title: Barista

Reports To: GM, AGM, and coffee experience manager

We opened Succulent in 2019 to create the kind of café we felt was missing—one that combines Midwest hospitality with California soul. A place where everyone feels welcome, whether you're a coffee nerd or just here for the good vibes.

Today, Succulent lives in Huntington Beach, California—our roastery, café, and creative hub.

We roast all of our coffee in-house. We make our syrups from scratch. We bake our pastries fresh each day and prepare our food in our scratch kitchen with simple, honest ingredients—free-range eggs, locally sourced artisan bread, and whole foods you can pronounce.

Key Responsibilities: 
- Craft high-quality espresso and coffee beverages with precision and care
- Prepare syrups, cold brew, chai, tea, etc *everything is made housemade at Succulent
- Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash/credit transactions
- Support your team and keep the good vibes going all day

What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, dependable, and a team player
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays (as needed)
- Prior café or food service experience is required
