Who We Are:
Berkeley, CA-based Terabase Energy is a venture backed startup founded in 2019 by solar industry leaders as a result of a technology spin out from SunPower Corporation. Our mission is to reduce the cost and accelerate the deployment of utility-scale solar through the digitalization of the solar power plant.
To meet this goal our strategy is twofold. Terabase is developing software and operational automation technologies aimed at streamlining the development, construction, and operational processes of solar projects. We work alongside project developers, owners, and engineering & construction firms to support the design, optimization, and construction of huge solar projects around the world.
We are also building a global and diverse team that will deploy on the forefront of technology and partnership to help revolutionize the future of the solar industry. We are based in Northern California, with several other offices in the United States and around the world. Our team is a blend of solar-industry veterans and newbies, thought-leaders, dreamers, software, electrical and mechanical engineers, coders, product managers, project managers, and sales and marketing professionals.

The Opportunity:
Terabase is currently seeking a Sales Director to join our mission-driven team who will identify, manage, and build our business opportunity pipeline and relationships with designated key solar EPC and IPP accounts . Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Director is responsible for sales of all Terabase core products. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in solar construction processes and methods.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher) dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
