Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Lot Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the organization and safety of company parking lots, moving trucks between multiple warehouses within the tri-state area, and assisting operations and dispatch teams as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Schedule: 

Typically Monday-Friday, 2:00PM-10:00PM . Flexibility is required as shifts may start earlier or end later depending on business needs. Weekends as needed.

Pay: 

$17.00-$19.00/hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Move company trucks between warehouses and parking lots within the tri-state area.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections and properly document findings.
  • Assist Operations and Dispatch with inspecting and verifying truck loads.
  • Distribute materials and maintain accurate records for end-of-shift reporting.
  • Assist with parking lot upkeep, including removing garbage, boxes, and other refuse.
  • Remind crews to return trucks in clean condition and document truck condition upon return.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., replacing mirrors, installing plates, etc.).
  • Drive trucks to and from repair shops when needed.
  • Monitor material disposal to minimize waste and ensure a clear and organized lot.
  • Maintain communication with Dispatch and Operations.
  • Work safely in all weather conditions and assist with vehicle maneuvering and safety.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and professional behavior aligned with company values.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Commercial Driver's License preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience driving and parking vans, commercial trucks, or tractor trailers. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions. 
  • Strong customer service skills, always respectful, understanding, and courteous.
  • Basic mechanical ability and willingness to learn simple repairs. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Team player with flexibility to work changing schedules, weekends, and long hours as needed.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
