**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** In this role, you will assist in the assembly and production of mechanical pipe plugs, testing plugs, and bypass plugs. You will work from detailed work instructions and perform basic inspections of each plug. Your duties will also include kitting and packaging products throughout the day. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to build the plugs and will be responsible for loading raw plug bodies into molds and other equipment. This position requires comfort with standing all day and lifting up to 50 pounds multiple times during the shift. While prior experience with hand and power tools is not necessary, comfort in using them is required. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the assembly and production of mechanical pipe plugs. + Work from detailed work instructions. + Perform basic inspections of each plug. + Engage in kitting and packaging of products. + Utilize hand and power tools in plug construction. + Load raw plug bodies into molds and various equipment. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and general labor. + Ability to work with assembly lines and use hand tools. + Understanding of mechanical assembly and inspection processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Assembly experience. + Manufacturing experience. + General labor experience, including landscaping, construction, or automotive mechanic work. **Why Work Here?** The company has recently been acquired and now offers a comprehensive benefits package. The facility is well-organized and, while some departments may be a bit dirty, it remains clean overall. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of St Michael, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
