Senior Process Optimization Engineer - Protein Manufacturing

A leading top 4 U.S. poultry processor is seeking an experienced Process Optimization Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead lean manufacturing projects at our state-of-the-art facility. Core Responsibilities:

• Spearhead lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize production workflows
• Lead complex efficiency improvement projects and conduct detailed root cause analyses
• Design and implement automation solutions and process modifications
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
• Develop and maintain labor standards while optimizing production capacity
• Manage multiple projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
• Drive safety and ergonomic improvements across all initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Protein industry experience required; poultry processing experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (exceptional non-degreed candidates with extensive protein industry experience will be considered)
• 3-5 years of relevant process optimization experience
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and process optimization tools
• Strong project management and team collaboration skills
• Demonstrated success in system troubleshooting and redesign
