This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Systems Administrator in the United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage, optimize, and automate IT systems in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the health and security of the organization’s digital infrastructure, integrating SaaS applications, and streamlining processes for efficiency and scalability. This position allows you to shape IT standards, ensure system reliability, and support cross-functional teams in a fully remote, collaborative setting. Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and administer IT systems, including Mac, Windows, and cloud-based applications, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Automate repetitive IT tasks and integrate SaaS tools with SSO and identity providers (IdP).
  • Configure and manage single sign-on (SSO) across applications to maintain security and simplify access.
  • Support compliance initiatives including SOC2 and SOX audits.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues promptly, from small fixes to complex projects.
  • Define, document, and refine IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in system administration or IT operations.
  • Proficiency in Mac, Windows, and Outlook environments.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Workspace and Okta.
  • Familiarity with SAML, SCIM, OIDC, DNS, and email security protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF).
  • Experience integrating applications with identity providers and managing access controls.
  • Ability to assist with compliance audits and security standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Preferred: Experience with Atlassian administration, email migrations, and other IdP tools.
