Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitorial professional to assist with cleaning and maintenance duties for our client’s production facility in Pittsburg, KS . The Janitorial role is part-time and supports the full-time custodian in ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This position is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for consistent hours on a weekday schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in production and common areas.
• Clean and restock restrooms, breakrooms, and office spaces.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored and maintained safely.
• Support the full-time custodian with additional cleaning projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in quality work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
