Job Title: Information Security Analyst
Overview:
The Information Security Analyst is responsible for conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, delivering security training, and supporting the enforcement of security policies and controls. This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks that could impact the organization’s data and systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Perform third-party vendor risk assessments to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure system configurations and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Work with development teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, promoting secure coding practices and automated security testing.
• Manage identity and access controls, enforcing least privilege principles across the organization.
Shared Operational Responsibilities
• Investigate security breaches, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure security by implementing appropriate controls.
• Participate in change management processes to evaluate the security impact of infrastructure and software changes.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
