We're active in New York City, Bay Area & rapidly expanding in LA, Chicago & Seattle.

Job Description

If selected, you’ll be brought on to cook for our weekly meal plan service where customers subscribe to meals delivered to their door each week offering a more steady & consistent income. The service is available for 4 days of the week, but there is flexibility to pick the days you’d like to participate.

Compensation is based on number of dishes/orders sold. Shef’s culinary specialist works closely with you to strategize on menu planning & pricing in order to be successful in front of customers viewing the service.

Requirements

• 1+ years of catering, private chef, or professional kitchen experience
• Culinary School degree and/or experience in commercial kitchens
• Your food handler's or food manager's certificate (or are willing to obtain one)

You are

• A talented & skilled chef
• Passionate about your craft & creating high quality meals
• Precise with food safety measures & cleanliness
• Comfortable & excited about preparing dishes within the following cuisines: Mediterranean, Italian, American, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Asian, etc.
• Interested in running your own business (or already do)
