Next Chapter Fitness & Nutrition is the premiere fitness studio in the Capital Region catering exclusively to women 50+. We provide a welcoming and comfortable space for women to train and gain confidence.

At Next Chapter, we are driven to work with women 50+ who are recommitting to themselves by reclaiming their fitness, shaping a healthier, stronger future. We offer semi-private programs as well as one-on-one coaching.

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fitness training, with experience training women 50+. As a Personal Trainer, you will deliver personalized fitness programs, provide modifications as appropriate, and foster a supportive community that encourages client engagement and success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual assessments to determine clients’ fitness levels and goals.
• Deliver customized workout programs tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide instruction on proper exercise techniques and safety protocols. Many of our clients require modifications, so knowledge of these is very important.
• Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized training environment within the studio.
• Maintain regular communication with Head Trainer regarding client progress.

Requirements

• Certification in Personal Training from a recognized organization is required.
• Must be CPR/AED certified
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients effectively.
• Passion for health and fitness with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings and evenings if necessary.
