Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately according to prescribed protocols
• Monitor patient response and provide support and education throughout treatment
• Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations in radiation therapy

Qualifications Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Maintain a current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy
• Complete 24 hours of continuing education within a 2-year period
• Current BLS certification
