Job Title: Recall SpecialistJob Description
As a Recall Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the purchasing organization, leading commercial negotiations for FSA programs, supporting critical supply issues, and managing material costs related to Recall Programs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify areas for process and cost improvements, support supplier management strategies, and ensure compliance with our standards.
Responsibilities
Lead commercial negotiations for FSA programs.
Support critical supply issues and manage material costs for Recall Programs.
Execute timely Recall launch plans and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Mitigate supplier cost uplift requests and drive service supply improvements.
Ensure superior delivery performance from our supply base.
Support adherence to supplier quality process requirements and execute timely new part sourcing.
Lead supplier management and engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, supply chain, engineering, implementation team, and finance to ensure process improvements align with company objectives.
Review supplier shipping plans with the Supply Chain to identify delivery opportunities.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of purchasing or related experience.
Established track record of managing complex programs.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Experience with purchasing, procurement, and ERP systems such as SAP and MRP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in leading commercial negotiations and supplier management.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment
The role involves working onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work from home on Monday and Friday. This schedule is subject to change based on leadership decisions. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to multitask effectively.

This is a Contract position based out of Allen Park, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $43.00/hr.
