SPS Mechanical is looking to hire Plumbers of all experience levels who are interested in working for a growing company with a strong employee and customer focus. We are looking for both installation and service technicians. SPS Mechanical is a South Jersey residential and light commercial heating, cooling and plumbing company servicing the greater Gloucester County area and surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, specifically with plumbing service or installation. Journeyman and master plumbers preferred, however helpers and apprentices are also being considered. The position requires proficiency in service, installation and maintenance of Residential & Commercial plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and provide solutions to residential and commercial plumbing systems, including resolving issues such as leaks, clogs or low water pressure. 
• Install fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures; connect appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines.
• Perform factory specified routine maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting of residential and commercial water heaters (gas & electric).
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan plumbing system installations.
• Drain and sewer line cleaning and inspection.
• Work site safety is essential. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment. Follow local and national codes and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on company provided smart devices.
• Maintain the workplace (including service vehicle) in a neat, clean and safe condition.
• Have a working knowledge of smart devices, tablets and smart phones.
• Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques.
• Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Project a professional image to associates, customers, and others.

Experience:

• 4+ years required
• Less experience may be considered for helpers or apprenticeship positions

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Applicable trade certification preferred
