About the Role
Dahl Consulting is partnering with a leading medical device manufacturer to hire a Technical Writer. This role is essential in supporting the engineering team by developing clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation and training materials for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems used in the testing and production of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Manuals for ATE testers, including:
• Safety guidelines
• System operation procedures
• Maintenance instructions and spare parts lists
• Calibration and adjustment processes

• Collaborate with engineers to create training materials covering:
• System operation and component overview
• Troubleshooting known and potential issues
• Software module operation, sequence, and code highlights
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and quality standards for medical device manufacturing
• Work closely with engineering teams throughout design and manufacturing phases to gather accurate technical information
• Manage documentation timelines and deliverables Qualifications
  Required:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in engineering or medical device environments
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation standards and best practices
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise content
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  Preferred:
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) and PCBAs
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices
